  • Extra dance wear in case any accidents occur

  • Bathrobe or long sweater to wear over costume to keep clean

  • Stage make-up (powder, blush, lip-stick, etc)

  • Hair supplies (brush, rubber bands, pins, hairnets, hair product to secure loose hair)

  • Pre-show light snack and water (not too messy for costumes).

  • Backstage Boredom Busters such as books, crayons and coloring sheets, board games or small toys

  • Dancers name should be labeled on all dance wear and shoes!

On performance day, dress rehearsal will begin shortly after dancer call time.

Plan to arrive early or on time, as this last practice is important for the individual dancer and the group as a whole to go over safety information and prepare on the stage.

Dancers are required to arrive dressed in BRB dress code. Students will get into costume upon after arrival.

Dancers must arrive with make-up done and hair in a proper ballet bun. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. We recommend practicing your child's ballet bun for class and rehearsals. See tutorials below.

Also see below for practice music, program advertising and, or course, please help spread the word by emailing out our flier or sharing on social media!

We are excited to have you and your child be a part of BRB's Nutcracker tradition! We do not require any extra tuition to participate in this special performance, instead we ask full commitment be given to the rehearsal schedule.

Be sure to save the date for our Cast Party at BRB's studio, December 21 at 5:30!

We are thrilled to continue giving the gift of dance to our community for another Nutcracker season. Thank you for being a part!
