POINTE WORKSHOP

Join us for our Winter Pointe Workshop this January 3 & 4 from 4:00-9:00! Our pointe workshop is designed for experienced pointe students and students working to earn their first pair of pointe shoes.

The program includes ballet technique, pointe/pre-pointe, conditioning for pointe work, and classical variations. Students also participate in pointe seminars with our knowledgable instructors during which we will cover topics such as pointe shoes preparation, guidance on maintenance, breaking in new shoes, safety, and other important topics to educate our dancers on safe and healthy pointe habits.

Our professional, highly experienced instructors, Christy AhnInna Yureneva and our very own school director Olivia Duffyshare their expertise within a well-rounded program designed by Founding Director Patricia Foster-Grado. Please read more about our Pointe Workshop instructors at the links above.

The Pointe Workshop is a great way to refine technique after the break, prepare for summer intensive auditions, and take on the new year with a healthy mindset on proper technique!

The dress code for BRB's Pointe Workshop is pink footed tights and pink ballet slippers with a black leotard in any style. Black ballet skirts will be worn for some classes. Hair must be pulled back into a proper bun and no jewelry can be worn. Please visit our local dancewear provider Grand Prix for all your dress code needs... see link on our dress code page!

Students are also required to bring a notebook or journal to take notes.

This two day workshop for serious dancers, is by invitation or audition only. Please contact us HERE if you have not received an invitation and would like to schedule an audition.
