PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
Technique can be drastically improved by working one-on-one with a teacher in Private Lessons in all dance forms. A beneficial supplement to a dancer's training routine, one-on-one lessons are individualized to each student's needs. Private lessons will develop artistry and fine-tune technique.
Semi-Private Lessons are also available for up three dancers.
Choreography for college, high school, middle school or summer intensive auditions can also be a focus of Private Lessons. The choreographer will provide edited music meeting the audition requirements and teach a solo piece presenting the student's strengths. At least, two to three lessons are recommended for choreography to allow sufficient time to learn the movement and receive coaching in the rehearsal process.
Private lessons are strongly encouraged for dancers in the Student Ensemble Training Program.
Scheduling Policy: Private lessons are scheduled and paid for directly with each instructor. Instructor rates vary depending on their experience and the type of private lesson you are scheduling. Our suggested rate for one-hour private lessons is $80-$150, which includes the space rental fee. The instructor is responsible for the rental fee.
Cancellation Policy: All private lessons require 24 hours notice to be cancelled. Private lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full amount.
